Letter From The Founder
As the founder of Vintage Church, I have been deeply committed to our mission of reaching people and building families through Bible-based teaching, the cultivation of a robust church community, and an emphasis on creating a discipleship culture.
As our church has grown, it has become increasingly clear that there is a growing need for a different approach to education and we have come to realize that we cannot fully accomplish our mission without also addressing the education of our children. One that is centered on biblical truth and virtue, and that is rooted in the local church. Our children are facing an unprecedented attack on their hearts and minds through the secular indoctrination that is present in the public education system. The values, beliefs, and morals that we hold as Christians are constantly being challenged and undermined by a worldview that is in direct opposition to our own.
We believe that the education of our children is too important to be outsourced to those who do not fear nor love God. As Christian parents, we have been called and ordained by God to be the primary educators of our children. Deuteronomy 6:5-9 and Ephesians 4 both make it clear that the responsibility for the spiritual and moral upbringing of our children lies with parents and the Church.
That is why we have decided to partner with Turning Point Academy to establish a 5C School: Christian, Classical, Conservative, Church-Based, and Cost-Affordable. This new school, Vintage Christian Academy, will provide an education that is rooted in biblical truth and virtue, and that equips students to be leaders in this world. Our approach is based on the principles of absolute truth and training affections of those under our charge towards God.
We believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact in the lives of our children, our families and our community. We understand that the decision to enroll your child in a private school is not an easy one, but we are committed to providing an education that is accessible and affordable for all families. As we launch Vintage Christian Academy, our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing an education that is based on biblical principles and that encourages students to think critically and independently. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for college and for life, and we believe that by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed, we are also equipping them to make a difference in the world.
As a parent myself, I understand the importance of a strong education for our children. That’s why all four of my children will be attending Vintage Christian Academy and I, along with my wife, who is a physician, and other professionals in our church, will be serving on the school board. We believe in this school and its mission so much that we are willing to invest not only our resources, but also our time, energy and families to ensure its success.
